Oh Rachel, he is precious. Yes, sometimes it feels like my heart could just explode with love! I remember the night I went into labor with our 2nd child, I lied in bed with Chandler and thought how sad for this 2nd child that I couldn't possibly love like I love her. (Can I get a "yeah, I remember that" from all of you out there?) Well, I have a dear friend that says "Love doesn't divide, it multiplies" It is amazing how God gave this to us, and to think He actually loves us more than that! Happy Birthday sweet Harrison. You are all very blessed. Any chance to see you this summer?
I told my husband that it feels like every time I have another child, my heart grows another chamber just for it. Like Kipplyn, I crawled in bed next to my first the night before I went to the hospital to have #2, because I knew no love would be greater than the love I had for him. Ha Ha... WRONG. The love a mom has for her children is, I think, miraculous.
I was trying to find your email address, but I can't at the moment. David is about to make me harm him because he apparently needs my attention, so I can't look - anyway he was born a little after 3:00 a.m. today. 7 pounds 5 ounces. All is well. If you send your email, I will forward the pictures brent got via email.
Rachel, those are adorable pictures. Yes, I think we all know that feeling of loving our kids too much. I always said, when I had Rachel, it felt like someone put my heart on the outside of my body. I felt so vulnerable. I knew she was the love of my life. I really couldn't believe it when to my surprise, I actually loved Parker just as much. UNBELIEVABLE. It is definitely a God thing. Now, I know that love 4 times over and it is amazing. (: Happy Birthday Harrison. You have great parents!!!
