but now it is FINALLY the right time to share.
that we are having a baby! again!
baby white # 2 is scheduled to arrive on november 20th. (i'm 14 weeks along).
pregnancy has been pretty uneventful thus far, except for the ravenous hunger, the exhaustion, the cleaning frenzies, and the not-interested-in-cleaning frenzies. but here are a couple of little tidbits you might find humorous.
- the snickers ice cream bar binge. oh, let me tell you, snickers ice cream bars are good. so good, in fact, that i ate an entire box (6 bars) in less than 12 hours. please note: for 9 of those hours, i was asleep. i do believe i have set some sort of a record.
- "geez, you're fertile". that was jeremy's reaction when i told him i'm pregnant. gentlemen, just an FYI, when your loving wife tells you that she's carrying your child, you may want to consider some alternative responses.
- being pregnant while you're raising a 13-month-old is not for the faint of heart. enough said. but, in the end, we are so thrilled at the idea of adding to our family. if our second-born is even half as wonderful as harrison, we will consider ourselves immensely blessed!
- jer would like to add that he really wants another boy, but he thinks this one is a girl. hmmm. all i can say to that is, "yes, dear" (his two favorite words). if anyone has an opinion, we're all ears! : )
so, thanks for reading about our exciting news! stay tuned for more of our daily adventures!
Woo Hoo!!! I'm so excited for you! Did ypu know that November 20th is Rachel's birthday? But if you don't like that date, you can have her (or him) 6 days early on the 14th and hit our anniversary, or if she'd rather stay in a while longer, you could have her on the 29th and hit Forest's birthday!! Yes indeed, November is a GREAT month.
ReplyDeleteLove you!
sorry about the "ypu"...I'm typing 1 handed with a baby in my lap. that is meant to be "you"...

YEAH!! Congrats and hope your waist/hind-end doesn't get as big as 6 Snicker Bars in a day will make it--just blame it on the baby!! Love you all, Sarah

ReplyDeleteHey, Steve & I are so excited for you guys. I laughed so hard about the Snickers Ice Cream bars. I was so sick all the way through I didn't get to enjoy those kinds of cravings. You might as well enjoy it, when else in your life can you ever _admit_ to eating a whole box of snickers ice cream bars? :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!!! I'm so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! Will you find out the gender ahead of time??
ReplyDeleteYea! I would love to see you and your sweet family. You guys are precious. I remember the times you guys were courting on the internet. Seems like yesterday. Congratulations! Ray and Denise

ReplyDeleteWell, congratulations, you two! Kathy and I are very happy for you, and pray that all will go well for you as you await the arrival--and beyond. Since you didn't take my advice when naming Harrison, I am pleased to know that you have a second chance to get it right... ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove, Uncle Bob
Congrats! Any chance you will make a trip to B'ville this summer?
